Description

Saga Prefecture is located in southern Japan surrounded by beautiful mountains and nature. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Saga prefecture is a perfect spot for a quiet working environment and enjoying nature. Wataya Besso is a Japanese traditional-style accommodation recently renovated to match the digital nomad’s needs. You can reach the property by car, bus, or train from Saga, Fukuoka, or Nagasaki airports. Highway buses are also available from Hakata Station and Nagasaki Station. For a seamless journey with no transfers, consider booking a taxi from Nagasaki Airport, which takes about 40 minutes. Or you can book the taxi in advance from Saga Airport which takes about 60 minutes and costs 3,000 yen. At Wataya Besso, you'll find a comfortable workspace in your room, as well as access to a co-working space with a kitchen throughout your stay. The room itself is a modern Japanese-style retreat, measuring 43.5m2, and includes a shower booth and a washing machine for your convenience. This package includes cultural experiences and accommodation. During your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in three cultural experiences: relaxing in a traditional onsen (hot spring), exploring a local tea farm, and participating in a pottery workshop. Stays range from 2 weeks to 3 months. Ureshino City is renowned for its rich heritage, featuring the celebrated Ureshino Onsen, known for its skin-soothing benefits; Ureshino tea, with a history spanning over 500 years; and Hizen Yoshida Pottery, which has been crafted for over 400 years. This experience covers these features, learn about the centuries-old tea production process by visiting a traditional tea farm, and engage in a hands-on pottery workshop at a 170-year-old kiln. Additionally, the accommodation offers a variety of 10 activities on site, including a sauna, bicycle rentals, a spa, a Japanese sweet-making workshop, tea tasting, and food and tea pairing. Please note that the full payment should be made in advance. Due to limited room availability, you may need to stay in a different room for part of your visit. If this occurs, we will provide you with a Japanese-style room. With this package, you can stay for up to 3 months. If you’d like to arrange a 3-month stay, please contact Nomad Stays.
